WARRANTY CONDITIONS

Modular Furniture (Bedrooms / Wardrobes / Cabinets / Storage Units / Wall Units & any knock down for residential use only)

  • 5 years warranty against any manufacturing defects.

Warranty Does not cover warpage due to excessive moisture conditions, swelling due to excessive exposure to water

For bulk purchases Only: However in case of projects where bulk purchase is involved on any single item, the warranty is less, not because there is a change in product quality but because the price is very competitive because of bulk purchase. However the warranty can be extended individually by customers with a AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) that is offered to developers at the time of purchase to be extended to customers. Warranty period applicable for bulk purchases is 2 years.

Sofas (Sofas / Sofa Beds / Divans & Large Seating)

  • 5 year warranty against frame.
  • 3 years warranty against foam and spring works. Normal usage or normal wear and tear isn’t covered under warranty. With all upholstery products, the cushions do get softer over time and will conform to the shape of the user, or the position the user sits in. Fibre-filled backs and armrests will flatten with time.
Chairs (Dining Chairs, Arm Chairs)

  • 1 year warranty against frame.
  • 3 years warranty against foam and spring works. Normal usage or normal wear and tear isn’t covered under warranty. With upholstery products, the cushions do get softer over time and will conform to the shape of the user, or the position the user sits in. Fibre-filled backs and armrests will flatten with time.
  • 5 years warranty against frame.
  • All wooden furniture is quoted with a range of lacquer and finishes intended for the final look of the product which ranges from Melamine / PU / Acrylic lacquer coatings. The same may fade due to direct exposure to sunlight over time. This is a unavoidable and natural process which is not within the control of INDOORS and is not termed a product defect.
  • 1 year warranty against any manufacturing defects.

  • 3 years functional warranty against hardware. For the first 3 years we cover against all labour and parts. Any service beyond 3 years will be charged for labour and parts as applicable.
  • No warranty against rusting of hardware unless SS304 grade hardware is used.
For prompt service we request all customers to mail us your complaint on info@indoorsfurniture.com with images o the issue and the same will addressed with replacements as required or as advised.
  • Warranty only applies for products being used under normal conditions for its intended use.
  • Warranty does not apply to the product that has been shifted to another location without proper care. Primarily applies to cabinet, storage unit and modular furniture.
  • Warranty does not apply to warpage / bending of shutters / shelves or panels due to excessive weight applied on items, high variation of moisture or any use of the product beyond its intended use or weight capacity.
  • Warranty does not apply to products that have been stored, assembled or installed incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products. Damage from direct exposure to sunlight and/or heat sources, water and similar conditions are not covered under this warranty.
  • Warranty does not cover glass or fabric.
  • Variations of color, or texture, in products made of natural materials, is not covered under warranty.
  • Cabinets are resistant against white ants / termite. Proper treatment of floor / wall has to be made for resistance against termite by the client. There could be a fungus formation in the cabinets if the wall is damp, seepage because of lack of curing or leakage. Our request is to take precautions of the same before the installation. INDOORS will not be responsible if the fungus formation happens later. In case of equipment such as water filter / geyser which are fitted into our cabinets on client’s request, INDOORS does not take any responsibility of any damages caused to the cabinets due to leakage / dampness from the equipment.
  • Warranty does not cover against exposure to excessive water conditions. Any product exposed to water for more than 1 hour will be considered void of warranty. Any product exposed to continuous dripping water leakage will be considered void of warranty.
  • There will be a charge for services on products that have exceeded the warranty period. We reserve the right to decline service where the product is obsolete, no longer deemed serviceable or replaceable for any reason.
  • The warranty becomes void in case the product has been serviced by anyone apart from an official INDOORS representative.
  • No claim shall be entertained for misuse of product or use beyond its intended use. Any warranty claim will be subject to assessment made by INDOORS and will be final and binding within reason. Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents.

Please Note: The above warranty conditions is applicable only for all goods sold from April 2018 only.

SERVICE GAURANTEE

MUMBAI, NEW MUMBAI, THANE: Warranty covers all labour and parts for the specified period as indicated based on product.

BEYOND MUMBAI LIMITS: For customers beyond Mumbai we charge a basic travel and labour fee as applicable. The same will be indicated before sending the required technician to resolve the matter. Any replacement components, parts or product replacement will be provided free of cost excluding transportation.

We accept all major credit/debit cards from local banks.

CHECKS
We accepts checks but the same is subject to clearance before delivery.

CASH
We accept cash in Indian Rupees only at any of our stores. A reciept for the same will be given at the time of payment.

Our Delivery period ranges a average from 4 weeks. In some cases the same can also increase depending on the nature of work involved and the quantity of items.

In case of project orders the same would vary and advised individually as per the requirement.

Our prices are inclusive of all government taxes as applicable so that you never have to worry about paying anything extra.
No Separate Installation Charges.

Our team of highly trained installers will assemble and install all furniture, interior fittings and home decor purchased

COVID19 LOCKDOWN TIMELINE

Due to the Covid19 situation we understand that a lot of orders may not get dispatched due to society or other lockdown issues. In such a case we would not hold our customers responsible for delays in delivery but would require that the balance payment due be cleared in advance. Delivery will be done as soon as advised by the client.

 

UNDER NORMAL SITUATIONS

For any delay in taking delivery of orders beyond 10 days after giving intimation.
A) OUTSTANDING PAYMENTS: INDOORS is liable to charge Rs.3000 per week for outstanding value upto Rs.5,00,000. For amounts exceeding Rs.5,00,000 the interest will be calculated on outstanding amounts @ 2% per month.
B) STORAGE CHARGES: Additionally, Rs.5000 per week on the overall order value of Rs.1,000,000 or lower as storage charges will be applicable till the same is collected. For order value exceeding Rs.10,00,000 the interest will be calculated on outstanding amounts @ 2% per month.
C) Orders not collected within 2 months of intimation will be considered as cancelled for which no advance refund will be provided back to the customer. In such a case INDOORS is authorized to sell of the goods at cost at its discretion to recover all costs as it seems fit by senior management.

  • An order once placed cannot be exchanged or cancelled.
  • Advances will be non-refundable.
Repair or Replacement are easy with Indoors.

In the unlikely event that your ordered product(s) is damaged in transit or during installation, exhibits manufacturing defects or you’ve received the wrong order, we would be happy to initiate a you a replacement at the earliest possible. Due to the nature of our product which are mostly made to order we are unable to accept returns under any other condition.

How to request a repair or replacement?
Once all the conditions listed above are met, please reach out to your project manager for initiating a return. Or reach out to us at care@indoorsfurniture.com within 3 days of receipt.

What is the 72-hour inspection policy?
Expect no delays. Once you notify INDOORS for a return request, we will make sure that a executive visits your site to inspect the product. If applicable, your return will be initiated in just 72 hours.

When will I receive a replacement?
When a return is accepted, the timeline for the replacement to reach you may vary from product to product. Our team will keep you informed at all times and we will make all efforts to make your new product reach you very soon.

The offer will be under force majeure clause – In event of circumstances beyond our control like natural calamity, strike, lockout, unrest or similar situation, we will not be held responsible or liable for any delay/non-performance.
FOR MUMBAI

Free Delivery to Mumbai

Indoors wants to ensure that your shopping experience is smooth and hassle-free. We will see to it that all products purchased from our store are personally delivered to you free-of-charge! We do not charge for the standard delivery of your orders. Indoors currently delivers to all locations in Mumbai.

All products will be delivered upto Two Floors in any tower. Service lift to be provided for taking material above 2nd floor. If not provided an additional labor charge of Rs.600 per laborer will be charged extra. Payment for the same to be made at the time of delivery.

FOR OUTSTATION DELIVERIES

All deliveries beyond Mumbai limits will be charged as per actuals and cost will be subject to approval by client.

Loading and Unloading

Loading will be done by INDOORS. For Unloading we request clients to arrange for labour  to unload material to save costs. A team can be sent by INDOORS but the same will be chargeable as per actuals.

With INDOORS we gaurantee delivery of our products within Mumbai or its outskirts at our risk.

Beyond these location we recommend all our customer to check the following

A) We recommend to ship only full truck consignments to avoid any damage to material which is Door to Door only. Material shipped via transport companies are cheaper but may result in the product getting damaged as the same is loaded and off-loaded at multiple locations and sometimes by inexperianced personal.
B) We recommend that all orders in such circumstances have a transit insurance policy taken for all liabilities so that the same can be claimed if material does arrive damaged. INDOORS can also arrange for the same if required on the clients behalf.
C) Any transit form/ road permit of any other relevant document required for dispatch of goods is to be given 5 days before the dispatch. Any issues arising at the respective check post due to issues in the form will have to be settled by the customer directly.
